Less than 11 miles south from Managua, is the Masaya Volcano National Park. It is a double volcano; - Masaya and Nindiri and it offers five volcanic cones; which is the most visited Volcano in Central America.
Masaya is a town where folklore lives in all its splendor.Traditional handicrafts, such as large hammocks, embroidered dresses, hemp tapestries, and carved masks are sold at open markets. The handicraft National Market is a must to be visited.
